Kiama Main Bathroom

Moody, dramatic and luxurious.

The freestanding bath sweeps into the space with its dramatic curves. Submersive and regal this solid surface bath is most definitely a statement piece.   With the bath filler  perfectly positioned (not floor mounted, to detract from the bath) at the foot end of the bathtub, centred at the niche and the bath, rectangular and curved, echoes the shapes of the vanity.   The glass panelling between the  shower and bath space still allows the room to remain ''open".  A seamless transition in colour across the – large format tile, with the smaller thin subway tile laid vertically adds texture to the walls, whilst the dark grey adds to the drama and intimacy of the space providing a backdrop to the statement piece in this room.   Providing ample storage and functionality the custom designed vanity in oak adds a natural element and warmth to this dramatic space.  Curves in the basin, compliment the bath and are also echoed in the custom mirror.

The beauty of the subtlety of the parallel lines, lighting, tiles and the use of restraint allows the client to enjoy the seamless aesthetic of this luxurious, spa-like bathroom

This project was finalist in the KBD, NSW Large Bathroom of the Year 2020
