Treescape House Main Bathroom

Designed for Bathing. This room is all about the bath. A striking custom ordered, oversized freestanding, seamless modern expression of a claw foot bath.

With beautiful lines and angles this statement piece forms the cornerstone of our design. Classic elements such as the chrome freestanding bath filler container the luxe direction of the design, a wall-to-wall niche balances the scale of the room and the graceful lines and long tapered legs of the Ballerina vanity exudes elegance and warmth. The neutral colour palette is highlight with the natural veining in the Calacatta large scale wall and floor tiles, contrasted with the mini mosaic feature tile in a matte texture, adding depth to the space.  Adjoining this spa-like sanctuary, is the contrasting powder room. Essentially the direct contrast of the main bathroom in the reflection of tile choices – linking the two rooms – but providing contrasting in colour – Ying and Yang, light and dark. As the powder room is also utilised by house guests and services a home office, we wanted to create and impact.

This project was awarded as the NSW Large Bathroom of the Year, KBDi 2018 and Creative Director Gavin Hepper named 2018 KBDi Bathroom Designer of the Year NSW for this bathroom
