OXFORD PROJECT

Scope of Work: New Build - Full Home Interior Design and specification

Completion Date: April 2021

Scale, form and grandeur. The curated selection of layered materials and intricate detailing bestow elegance and luxury in this contemporary full home design in a new build in North-West Sydney

Stepping into this light filled space you are immediately struck by the scale of this dramatic over-sized island defining the heart of the home, presenting the kitchen to all that gather here.

An incredible entertaining space with multiple seating zones, a contemporary take on the butler’s pantry, so functional and attractive, it forms and extension to the kitchen, rather than a space to be hidden behind closed doors.   Allowing connection and communication to the front of house Kitchen.

The consistent use of materials throughout the home has enabled a connection to each of the separate spaces providing an overall cohesive style and restraint.   This curated selection of materials includes Neolith*, a sintered stone, Oak veneer and metallic highlights.  The Neolith features across multiple surfaces including the island counter top, bench tops and splashback, wall cladding and oven casements and even in the fireplace surrounds in the adjoining living area.

This versatile product has infinite uses as it is heat, stain and scratch resistant, waterproof, easy to clean, and hygienic for food preparation surfaces.   Longevity and usability is enhanced a thin 12mm profile this product allowed us to refine our design details and the elegant profile lines in a way that would not be capable with a natural stone.

Bathed in natural light the main bathroom features the consistency of the Neolith offset with a dramatic feature tile in a deep green, also used in the powder room.

Within the MasterSuite -  makeup zone, dressing room and walk in robe and large ensuite an elegant combination of the Neolith and Oak veneer.

The stunning detail, considered and restrained design paired with tactile materials writes a narrative of scale and contemporary luxe in a classical colour palette of deep blue, formed concrete, bronze, timber and stone elements inviting you linger in these well curated spaces.
