Treescape Home

Working across multiple spaces to deliver an elegant and sophisticated home that would be a talking point for their family and friends whilst enjoying their love of entertaining.

The first step in the interior renovation of this home was the kitchen, featuring high end appliances, innovative materials and finishes.   A large island benchtop was designed to transition from the thin island top and create a wave like effect into the raised bar top, resulting in a very organic and tactile piece of furniture to centre the space.  Clean lines and seamless joinery provide understated glamour.

We have also renovated both the couples ensuite and the main bathroom in this home, inspired by boutique hotel design these modern sophisticated bathing spaces ooze style.  The ensuite was transformed in an intimate sanctuary equipped with luxurious finishes and fittings.   The utilisation of the same large grey tile across both the walls and floors ensures a seamless look and natural veining provides a calming effect, and under the lighting almost reflects the soothing flow of water movement. The luxury of carved marble basins sit astride the wall mounted custom cabinetry – a statement piece. A detail orientated space, well balanced, with the harmony of soft curves.

Designed for Bathing. A striking custom ordered, oversized freestanding, seamless modern expression of a claw foot bath.  With beautiful lines and angles this statement piece forms the cornerstone of our design.  Classical elements of the chrome freestanding bath filler, a wall-to-wall niche balances the scale of the room and the graceful lines and long tapered legs of the Zuster Ballerina vanity exudes elegance and warmth.  A neutral colour palette is highlight with the natural veining in the Calacatta large scale wall and floor tiles, contrasted with the mini mosaic feature tile in a matte texture, adding depth to the space.  Adjoining this spa-like sanctuary, is the contrasting powder room. Essentially the direct contrast of the main bathroom in the reflection of tile choices – linking the two rooms – but providing contrasting in colour – Ying and Yang, light and dark.

This project was awarded as the NSW Large Bathroom of the Year, KBDi 2018 and Creative Director Gavin Hepper named 2018 KBDi Bathroom Designer of the Year NSW for this bathroom and the ensuite awarded as the NSW Small Bathroom of the Year, KBDi 2018.
